Default RollHard (photo heavy)

So last month I went to this in a friends car, took a load of photos but only just got round to sorting them.

It was up in Essex (you could tell by the number of cars on air-ride! ) and has a huge following in the stanced scene. They had over 1500 cars there, really packed event.

The venue was Cressing Temple Barns, never heard of it before but perfect place for a car show like this, although they're already at the limit of it (and well over the limit that the local roads could cope with trying to get in).

Quality of cars was very high - even the stanced stuff, despite that not being my thing at all. But I can appreciate the time, money and effort that went into a lot of the builds. The organisers require photos of every car to even register, and effectively weed out all of the junk beforehand which keeps the quality high. And as there was a load of stuff there that you guys might like, onto some pics....

And finally... my taxi for the day. A mate's 306 GTI6, full cage with usual track modifications. And solid engine mounts fitted a few days before driving up to Essex, they sure make a difference

Yeah, there was a complete mix of everything there. I was quite torn about whether I liked some of them or not - fully restored beautiful E30 beemers etc, mint condition, yet looking a bit silly on bags and parked on the ground with arches touching the rims.

Different strokes for different folks as they say. But still a great show

Cool pics Steve, some nice looking machines there, the Honda powered Mini gets my vote though, looks insane!

Thanks for the summer weather reminder by the way.

Haha, yes the mini looked bonkers.

And it was hot too, not Bromley Pageant hot, but still plenty of suncream needed!

If you like that sort of thing, seems like a good show. But of all the pics you posted, I would only want one or two of the cars, some of the things they've done are a travesty!

Great pictures Steve! Reminds me of the Players Classic show I went to at Goodwood a few years ago: a huge mix of cars with a few that I really liked and a lot that had been ruined by air ride and silly camber!

Thanks mate. Photos are all just straight off a Samsung Galaxy S7 with no editing other than a batch resize to make them small enough for the internets
