Default F.A.O Hastings residents

The lovely highways agency are currently "dressing" the road surface on Bexhill Road between Harley Shute and Filsham, looks like they're going to continue along in front of TK Max as well so I'd avoid if you can.

Btw, for us non-Hastings folks.... is there a speeding issue on Hastings sea front then? On Brighton sea front there's so many queues and traffic lights you can barely get to 20mph before having to stop

Only of an evening when the local youth come out to play, there were 2 static cameras which slowed people down for about 20 metres, there was a cyclist killed along there a year or so ago so probably a result of that.

your correct the reason for it, but they forget the driver/passangers where drunk and so was the cyclist.

Neither of the speed cameras on the seafront have worked for years. The salt water got into them and broke them.

New average speed cameras are a different proposition.

It Made me laugh when they installed the average speed cameras at each end. As if you could maintain anywhere near 30mph!!

But they don't state what the average is they use.
Probably 12.5mph because any more means you must of sped at some point.
