Bush / suspension advice.
Hello guys,
Am looking for recommendations for bushes, strut braces, lift kits, roll bar kits, anything really, I got lost in a minefield of suspension information so thought I would turn to you lot. I see people mentioning Whiteline lift kits and generally recommending their products so what I am looking for is what people would suggest as a starting point to upgrade the suspension area of my STI. So far it has Tein street advanced coils fitted and the rest factory Thanks in advance Simon

a lot depends on what use you put your car to and how aggressively you drive it..........
we supply various products and often "mix n match" to best suit an individual

As Alyn says its down to personal preference and what you use it for...
I have: Eibach ARB's front and Back (23mm & 24mm) Whiteline Lateral Lock Rings for Rear ARB Whiteline Roll Centre / Bump Steer Kit Whiteline ARB Heavy Duty Mount Kit (Will have when fitted) HardRace Trailing Arms, Adjustable Control Arms, rear drop links Whiteline Anti-lift kit Whiteline Top Mounts on the Front Group N Top Mounts on the rear Eibach Coilovers Super-Pro gearbox mount bushes Whiteline Steering Rack Mount Bushes Scoobyworld Front and Rear Strut Braces I would def recommend getting new ARB's - whiteline are OK but people say they rust. My Eibach ARB's are very good Anti Lift kit makes a difference when hard accelerating, and changing things like steering mount bushes, and gearbox mount bushes make a difference at keeping everything stiff... Best thing is start doing bit by bit to see how you like before doing it all in one,
A whitleine rear ARB is a good mod to start of with, as with a anti lift kit, you could do this along with set of braces and a full geo, and go from there if you need to go further.. |

Give Ayln a call and talk through what "you" want out the car and he'll see you right

I'd Echo CJ's comment plus consider talking to Dave at NAD in Littlehampton for a local specialist to supply (Alyn may well be cheaper), fit and align.
Also as Ryan says Whitelines have a reputation for poor quality finish and tend to rust - The Eibachs on my old Impreza were rust free after 10 years and only had slightly discoloured powder coat. Same goes for the ones on my old MKII golf which lasted 8 years rust free. Suspension is abut getting what's right for you and your use or the car and driving style.
