If the coolant overflowed, couldn't it be still from that

I don't think so as when I checked after parking up the car it seemed quite dry. Also there's a definite drip which I can collect in a jar (that's how I know what colour it is). I also checked the same spot under where the car had been parked from mid March until 2nd April and found evidence of what looks to be the same leak...

OK, back with an update....

Huge thanks to Neil @ slowboy racing for sorting out the coolant problems prior to me driving very apprehensively to SRR this morning, trying not to use boost

Simon & Charlie did their stuff and after a short while the car made a conservative 447.5 HP at 1.7 bar. There's room for more but after 8 months of grief I didn't want to risk pushing things any further ....

So, a much happier ride home and now I'm going to have to start spending money on petrol

The clutch is taking a little getting used to! It judders a bit in 1st and reverse making it difficult to get away smoothly unless applying a few revs.

However, I haven't had much chance to drive the car yet, other than a few motorway miles....

Be good to see it at the meet mate, I haven't seen it since I collected some kits from Wiley a few years ago (just after the hawk conversion).

Following some interest in the rear brakes, here's a couple of pics

No 5mm spacers I could see either. The tyre is quite close to the coilovers, but I couldn't get a decent pic, so perhaps I'll stay with the 235 tyre width.

Hi Wiley

yep, wheels are now anthracite following a refurb and new Vredstein rubber fitted. Reverse scoop and new boot lid with spoiler to be fitted now they have been sprayed in 02C Blue. Brakes next on the list as is a tweak to the mapping as hoses keep coming off under the bonnet during quick acceleration.

I'll get some pics up when some of the work has been done and the weather's better
