Default New member checking in, WR1 no 95

Hello one and all....

New member to the SES, just wanted to say a big hello to the community, not very schooled on forum's, but I'm really keen on getting better at it, and getting more involved and hopefully contributing some interesting content.

One of my main reasons for joining is not only to share content but to hopefully meet up with like minded scobbie/Jap fans at meets in the south east and further afield.

Any advice on how to find out when meets are happening, and how to join in, I would be very much grateful and beer will be given in exchange.

A little about the car, she is a 2004 WR1 with only 20K on the clock, I have put a 1K on her since owning her, this includes the trip from Warrington to Kent, I use her for weekends or a bright and sunny day. The car has actually been in Sweden for the last 10 years owned by a collector.

Totally stock when I brought her, she has now had a CAM Belt change, service, Catback Blitz Nur Spec R, K & N Typhoon (cold air) and a Map. Next couple of weeks she goes back in for a sports decat and a tweak to the map.

Other than that she will be left alone, I still have all the original parts and the map, if I decide to sell. The car is now how I want her to be, sound amazing and goes like.................?

If you see a WR1 in the Medway area or around Kent, give me a thumbs up.
All the best and a big cheers......!

Hello, welcome to SES!

Car sounds like a great purchase, look forward to seeing it, there are a few WR1 fans on here...

Great to see a new face on the forum and somebody who is looking to come to meets and events. We normally have a meet every month and try to attend a selection of events as a club throughout the year.

Most of what's going on can be seen on the meets and events page so keep an eye out.

Welcome to SES

A WR1 with 20k on the clock, that's a pretty rare thing. Nice find

A massive thanks to everyone for the welcome.....

Once I find the meets and events page ill be all over it...lol Ive got some pics of the car and as soon as I've worked out the best way to upload, ill be on it like a car.........

A bit to learn, like how to reply to individual post's, honest I'm no a total techno idiot, just working out.......Slowly.

Any links on how best to use the site/forum? I see the post regarding Photobucket, very helpful, is this still the best way to go??

Willowsdad... Im in upper Gillingham, a stones throw from Chatham, hopefully see you around, my two young boys will be well chuffed to see another WR1, they go mental when they see any Impreza going buy...

Again a big thanks

Cheers all..

Can't remember how many posts you need but once the count is up you will have full access to all areas. I think the link for photo bucket is still a good route to go but I'm sure someone will be along to advise

Photobucket is the best and pretty much only way of getting photos directly on to forum posts if using a PC/Laptop. It's a bit of a faff but becomes easier with use.

You can upload photos using Andriod/iOS from mobiles if you download the Tapatalk app and use it to visit the forum and post from mobiles, very simple to do but of course the pics you want to upload will have to be on your device!

Once a minimum of 10 posts is achieved you will have access to the whole forum.
