Default New STi Owner (Pic' Heavy!)
Evening All,

New to the forum, and new to Subaru! I never even considered buying one up until February this year, and if I'm being honest it was a random purchase (long story)!

As far as I'm aware, there is nobody local to me that owns one of the new generation STi's. In fact I've only seen three since I picked mine up back in March, but none in the same colour. Be good to meet some local owners at some point if there are any about?!

I'll upload a few pictures that I took last month after a clean and polish, and whilst the weather was still good!

Hey, welcome to SES and smashing pictures - I'm also glad to see another MY16 join us just shame it wasn't in time for the breakfast meet last month, would have been nice to meet up.

I knew it was grey - I just didn't want to show up the others

Have our generation of STI been given a name yet? I can't say I've seen anyone use anything other than the model year.

Lovely car and great photos! I think the latest generation STi is a massive return to form in terms of styling, that front end looks great in grey.

I've just moved to Brands Hatch from Surrey, didn't realise there was a Subaru dealer in Maidstone. Are they any good?

Cheers, yes it's the FG Barnes dealership. It was the first car that I've ever bought brand new and my first experience with any car dealership, so didn't really know what to expect. A few small mishaps with regards to buying and getting the car delivered, but apart from that I've had no issues with them.

Thanks though I don't mind in any case, but I would feel put off with those calling it the wrong colour 😋
