Default Nearly 2 months ago already....

But I've only just got round to sorting through the camera since we got back from Germany. Yes, poor effort I know. But now a bit of time has passed, its good to look back and remember the fun times

Pistenklause

Little drive out, featuring lots of hairpins, a couple of tunnels, and a nice spot on the side of the Mosel valley as a thunderstorm started zapping the opposite hills.

Koblenz... didn't see much of the old town but still a pretty place to visit. One to go back to next time I think

RUN!!!

And then the hail came. Obviously doesn't bother the Scottish though!

Boppard - took a little detour on the way back from Koblenz and found a nice spot for a coffee Some nice roads on the way back from Boppard towards Cochem too.

First couple are wide panoramics >>>>

Cafe/restaurant/bar etc.

Pinochios - the home of large pizzas and larger beers

Good set of photos.

If you shoot in RAW then I'm impressed it only took two months!

Yeah, highest I've ever seen it. And very brown with sediment too. You can see how much mud was coming down the Mosel in this pic where it meets with the Rhine which is a different colour:

Real strong current too, no wonder there weren't any boats running in Cochem.

Good piccy's Steve, like the panoramic shots. The trip seems so long ago. I like the one of Sean in the Datsun.

It's this place:
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/...79!4d7.5726807

The road up to it is easily missed, it looks like you're turning into a single track private driveway. Only knew it was there because we'd been up there before by cable car in 2010 when we stayed in Boppard for 3 nights. The L207 is the easiest road back over to the Mosel, but the L209/K119/K72 has more hairpins. I remember one near Brodenbach being very steep & tight, cocked a wheel getting round it.

Took this in Beilstein which is the small town where we got off the boat that time, wouldn't have wanted to live along the Mosel at Christmas in 1993, the one at the bottom is 2011 so it has flooded in recent years.
