Default Motors by the Moat, Leeds Castle, May 7/8th

Just wondered if SES will be doing a club stand for this event?

Not heard about it so just Googled. How did you hear about it?

As you may know, we've attended Supercar Siege at Leeds Castle for the last 3 years but this event isn't running in 2016. It looks like this is a replacement event, but is it organised by the venue themselves or is another club running it?

Nice one Granby

I remember seeing Granby's little message, shame they won't have Supercar Siege as last year was the first time I have attended and thought it was a great day, despite much sun burn!

It's a really unique venue for a car show and you can break up the cars with a bit of castle viewing if you fancy.

Sorry I should have provided a link!

I came across it on facebook through suggested events bit. I think this is the official page for it;

https://www.facebook.com/events/1698558707096563/

Yeah I did read about Leeds Castle pinching the idea for themselves, which isn't great. But I missed out on previous years, when it was Supercar Siege, purely from not knowing about it.

Sunburn? I don't remember that....................Much!

Looks like the castle may of pulled rank on the charity preferring to earn revenue rather then help a charity.
It may not be the case but that's how it looks/feels from the outside.
I'll message Ross to see what he's upto in order to be sure we don't have a date clash before signing us up.

I will need numbers and reg plate details to register.

Looks this way to me as well mate. After 3 successful years I expect the venue realised how much cash there was to be made from doing this themselves rather than giving it to charity

Be surprised if they have the helicopter there as per last 3 years as I assumed that was organised through Baz's connections with the Navy/Marines? And no Sporting Bears either.... be interesting to see of the venue has any ideas to add something extra to the event to see/do to replace this.

Hi all,

many thanks for your support yesterday at Brands for Supercar Siege and yes I can confirm that the castle pulled the rug out such that they could profit 100%. Supercar siege moved on hence thats why I didnt arrange a helo or Bears for the castle. Great to see you all yesterday although as I was running dream rides i didnt get away until approx 15:00

Hope you are all there agian on the 19 Jun for Tunerfest?
