DC has signed up to do the F1 again this year. I doubt he'd have time to do both.

Believe she is:
http://www.mirror.co.uk/tv/tv-news/c...r-sick-7197150

DC busy as his production company has won rights to produce F1 for Channel 4 so jumping there:
http://thejudge13.com/2016/01/11/cha...ction-company/

Not seen anything about Harris....

Makes sense for DC to go to Channel 4 if he's involved with the production company too. Just had a google and all the main news sites were reporting just before christmas that he'd agreed to do Top Gear, e.g.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/bbc/...ris-Evans.html

Maybe he's pulled out and Matt LeBlanc is the replacement?

Always comes across as a decent fella and no doubting he's a real petrol head either

Think the position of all the presenters is akin to the David Moyes position, whoever took over they were always going to struggle to live up to Fergie, credit to him for going for it though.......... and likewise with Chris Evans, he must know he's got massive shoes to fill but maybe like many of us, as a petrolhead he too may have fealt that 'topgear' had got a bit 'samey' and was less petrolhead and more 'lads mag'?

hope it just comes back to a decent Sunday evening programme thats worth watching........... and at least its on free to air and not subscription only like the old money whores show is!!!

I was quite pleased with the Matt Le Blanc announcement. Likeable chap and a car enthusiast.

Eddie Jordan though is a terrible presenter, so I echo Ron's comments!

The difference for me to the Man Ure analogy is that I really want Top Gear to succeed...

Someone mentioned 5th gear format, can't help but agree

There are some very good people in the lineup and I think Matt Le Blanc will be a good addition

It's only top gear in name, that format has gone

This.

I stopped watching F1 on the BBC because I couldn't stand Eddie Jordan.

Agreed, Eddie Jordan is an opinionated idiot.... time will tell I guess. But then Clarkson wasn't shy of controversial opinions, and he did alright out of it

Well the new line up mostly gets my vote... except for Eddie Jordan. Unless they are planning to have a regular feature on how to run an unsuccessful F1 team or making stupid statements, I can't see how he is going to fit in.

Agree with comments above... line up looks good apart from the inclusion of EJ. He made the Beebs F1 coverage unwatchable at times, guys an arse!

Really interested to see the new chap, Rory Reid, that came through the open audition.

To impress with a tape and follow up auditions is quite a feat. Fingers crossed he's good.
