Default Road Trip

When the scooby comes we are looking at going on a road trip to Venice & Rome. Does anyone have nice routes from here to there? Going through France and into Italy or through Switzerland? Will be looking at going mid/end of June.

Sign yourself onto the Rico Rally that Big 'E' went on last year, and also going on this year.
They have 2 trips a year June and Sept, they're quite pricey tho, but you definately get your monies worth.
I'm sure he'll be along at some point.

Best bet is to get a map of Europe, mark all the places you want to go and then try and join all the dots via as many contour lines as possible. Google Street View will give you a good idea of what the roads are like, then just use trip advisor to find guest houses and B&Bs along the way, that's how I'd do it if it was me. You won't be able to avoid motorways for some bits but unless you want to stop off in Belgium etc then they're the quickest way to get to the interesting bits.
