Default Debate

Well be doing alot of thinking about this and still thinking just comes down to job front

1. Go to the ring
2 . Map car instead
3. Or do both

Personally - the obvious answer is both if you can afford it !

if not - I would come to the Ring, and then map the car later in the year

Depends if you're happy taking the car to Germany with the current map. If you're not convinced the map is right for the current build then it could be a very expensive trip.

1. Definately go to the ring 2016
2 . Use SatNav not Map in car
3. Do 1 & 2 above

Germany is not a trip I'd want to do with a less than perfect map as it is harsh on the car.

so save pennies, get a paper round and do both!

know exactly how you feel, had everything figured out for Germany, then mortgage application pulled everything down like a pack of cards, having to think outside the box at the moment.

I'd get the map sorted if only one thing is available.

The trip is doubtless brilliant, but the map sets your car up for the future, so is essential in my opinion.

As noted above, if the map isn't up to muster, you could end up with a far more substantial bill, not that you need telling that really after your bad luck last time out.

How does the cost of attending Germany as a passenger compare? Could that be a compromise? Go without the car and save more towards the car when you get back?

You still get a trip with your mates, just not in the car.
