Default Sports cat?

Right... I'm on the look out for a sports cat before remap in a few months.

What's your thoughts on this: http://scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog/pro...oducts_id=3396
Or shall I go for a prodrive sports cat? There's a few on eBay at the moment.

Thanks in advance.

Been considering the same part here too Sam. I'd prefer to go for a full length pipe to replace both main and secondary cats in one go. I think the prodrive sports cat only replaces the down pipe and will leave you needing to replace the secondary cat separately.

Looks a good buy, Scoobyworld products are usually pretty good. But do you want to go 3' throughout as this narrows to 2.5? Personally I'd bite the bullet and go 3'

The prodrive cat I've seen comes with a decat second pipe too. I agree though, I prefer the full length pipe too.

Thanks Nick. I was looking to stay 2.5' at the moment. If I was to go 3', I would probably go decat all the way through

What cat back system are you currently running Sam? Like Nick says, as it narrows to 2.5 I guess that's the only issue. I want to stay with my current Milltek cat back which is a 2.5 end to match standard cat pipe but I think a 2.75 system... Mine field!

I'm running an afterburner cat back system from scoobyworld at the moment, which is 2.5. So should fit nicely

I went 3" cobra system with only a sports cat - never looked back (well only to check that loud grumble is definitely coming from mine! )

With a sports cat - I passed the MOT - but only just! I was on the legal limit! But I do have ported headers, and Harvey smith pipe too

If you can - go 3"
