Default Which oil filter

Evening all,

Doing an oil change this week and heard loads about genuine Subaru filter black/blue, can somebody please advise on the best filter to order ? For a 2011 STI Saloon ??

Blue is uk made ,
Black is the jdm version
Pink is sti made ,
Black and pink are larger slightly so hold little more oil and more filteration I believe , but sure someone will be able to tell you exactly what is what

Speak to Alyn at AS Performance - but most use blue or black I think - stay genuine rather than hks

iv cut a oem and blueprint open and i couldnt see any diffrence,always used blueprint black ones personally and havnt had any problems( touch wood)

I've used IDL blueprint and OE blue. As above they are probably the same just re badged and price hiked.

Ok ,I've run Hks and hks oil ,running on my fozz now what's the feed back then,what's wrong with them ?
Yes if standard oem all day long

I ran the hks filter before the last change, now I just went oem on this one. Noticed absolutely no change whatsoever, apart from a few extra quid in my pocket. No noticeable change in pressures or temperature either.
