I thought it was a good little feature that.

Jenson's voice when he finished in the Beetle was hilarious!

They were taking the piss out of him on the coverage on the BBC after they showed the film.

There were a lot of rumours floating round before Button's 2016 F1 announcement. Coulthard was strongly associated with rallycross a couple of years ago as well, I believe he had/has some connection to Albatec Racing.

I'm not the biggest Button fan, but that was a brilliant little feature and Jenson would no doubt be a huge attraction if he came to rallycross. I just hope he'd be more competitive than Villeneuve!

I think you or I would be more competitive than Villeneuve!

It still baffles me how he ever had any success in any form of racing.

Well he did at least provide a "big" name to advertise rallycross with last year so, for that at least, I am grateful... pity he was useless when he actually got in the car though!

Great little piece by the beeb there. Really should start watching rallycross again!

Have to admit, Button has really grown on me ever since his wc in 09, always professional an seems like such a genuinely decent bloke.

He's actually not, from what I understand from those who deal with him, a very nice chap at all.

His private persona is apparently quite different. I confess to being sceptical, as it would seem a bit incongruous, but I've had a few people say the same. Could be he's just arsey when it comes to business.

I was surprised too as you wonder why he bothers building the public persons, only to mask that he's a twat... why not just not be a twat?

Unfortunately, I've not worked with him to be able to judge.

Like Banners I have heard some negatives comments about it. He has dealt with several individuals I know in the aviation industry and they have been less than positive about his attitude.

As said, perhaps that is purely down to it concerning business issues. He seemed quite genuine in that video, but F1 is all about presenting a squeaky clean personality, isn't it?

Maybe hes just a pro at PR and acting for the camera? Wouldnt be the first!

Shame if true though as its good for the sport to have a seemingly nice guy at the top end of the paddock i think. As great a driver as the likes of Alonso, Hamilton and co are, their personalities leave a lot to be desired at times! On that note though, Hamilton seems to be trying to learn how to show a PR persona, some of his balanced and thought through comments of late have been very out of character.

Hamilton is just super competitive and has been in racing since a very young age, so it's hardly surprising that he has a slightly warped perception of the world.

If you look at what he gets up to away from racing, it's a mix of great stuff and pretentious nonsense.

However, having recently seen him pay a visit to an incredibly unwell young lad, I struggle to see him as anything but a great human being. You can't fake the look on his face in the photos.
