STI lump in a VW Beetle
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hpb2Him9CUo
I have posted a couple of MCM vids in the past, I know Shane is a fan, but I am sure this will interest a few of you! The guys build a 'sleeper' putting a fettled STI engine into the back of a classic beetle, some engine build stuff and an interesting project with some good results. |

Love it, a hell of a lot of work but great results, just hope they updated the brakes as well

It was interesting to watch. I'm hoping it will develop with some suspension and brake mods to go with the power.
Really hoping they don't butcher Moogs mini too much, hadn't realised the JDM Mini had air con, amazed they managed to squeeze it in. |

I'm still uncertain how the standard Beetle gear box just bolted on and took the punishment, or did I miss the part where they beefed it up a bit...?! Moog's Mini is an interesting one as I don't think or see how they can do much to a very good, clean example that's a bit of a collectors item, any mods will probably ruin it! |

I might watch it again at some point to see if I can work it out, can't imagine they would have used the original one! |

Was the run timed? as must be under 12 secs if it beat the Porcshe by that amount.
