Default Please Help

Hi
I have a uk300 and seems bottom end has failed, want to have a rebuild, I have looked and looked for someone to rebuild my engine and every time I think I may have a good place to do I get warned off due to bad feed back.
It's a 2001 bugeye
I have budget of 2.5k ish
Just want rebuilt so I can use it, happy with power so not really looking to upgrade any parts

Any help would be greatfully received

Thanks

How about Slowboy Racing? But as CJ says just drop a new lump in from a reputable breakers, should even be able to drop a stronger STI lump in.

Rebuilds aren't cheap as you should look at replacing sump, modine plus damaged parts plus head studs gaskets etc.

Hi
Decided on a full rebuild with forged parts, thanks for all the advice, just could not believe no one in South East would do, having to send it 300 miles away, be worth it when I get it back, tryed slow boys for over a week with no reply

There are plenty in the South East.

Dan at Surrey Subaru Specialists, for example. He's in Camberley, so fifty miles or so from you.

He's worked on my FSTi and my wife's WRX for about for years now. Not had an engine rebuild, but that's where I'd go if I needed one.

Let me know of you want more details.
