Just had a thought....

I assume gazebos are allowed? If so, can anyone assist with getting it down there? I'm bringing Claire & Ellie and it won't go in the car with the baby seat as it just about squeezes through the ski-hatch on the newage.

Check first as I'm sure not all do If you have the arm-rest that folds down in the back seats, then you have the ski hatch too. Think some models were just fixed seats without it though....

So you have problems too with things flopping down at speed, just keep a steady pace is what I say...

Sounds like you logistics for the journey on Sunday could prove interesting Ryan, lots of people to see and places to be!

If Ginola is converting his car into the SES naffy wagon there will be plenty of room next to the hamper

Let us know if you would like monetary contribution - don't mind paying to help towards costs as you can't be expected to buy ingredients as well as spend your time baking it all

If you have it, drop it round on Sat, it will fit I would think, (I do have a ski hatch, but not sure what Wanda is planning in the way of catering stuffs) If you saw how much kit I squeezed in for the last Germany Trip... (and in the car too!)

We'll be there but easier to meet in the McD's car park right on the roundabout i think

See everyone at Chichester Mc'Ds at 8am then

Just FYI guys, I put the Beaulieu postcode into Google maps and it tries to take me into the motor museum from the wrong side via a closed road. The main entrance is on Hatchett Lane isn't it?

Mike L - can you PM me your number and I'll try and call you as we come past Portsmouth so you can drop onto the M27 and join the group?

PaulScooby - not sure whereabouts you are down Southampton way, but Google maps suggests we'll be coming off the M27 at J3 then going down M271 before onto the A roads to Beaulieu. Must be a layby or something you can wait at for us to come past, or you can try and meet us there.

Personally I would ignore the SatNav and go via Lyndhurst.
A much nicer route in across the Forest Heathland.
40mph limit but much more to see and may as well see the New Forest while down that way.

For those not meeting at Chichester and who may enter the event on their own, please put an A4 sheet in your window with 'South East Scoobies' in large font. They will then direct you to the parking area.

Thanks to everyone that came along today.
Was a very chilled day from the Mcmuffin breakfast through to the cake and coffee's.
I hope you all enjoyed the day, the weather and a taster of the New Forest.

We also shot down to Hurst Castle for an ice cream and gander at the Isle of Wight, watched horses with no knowledge of the Green Cross Code and left lemon drizzle on the windows of Meridian Ferrari.

All in all a great day all round......

Great day for sure. Good turnout, loads of nice cars to look at, agree that there was plenty of WTF examples too! Thanks for the coffee and cake Wanda

Drive home with Dave and a white GTR was hilarious. I need to refill my washer bottle now though, I appear to have emptied most of it onto another blue scoob that was in my mirror

Had a good, relaxed day yesterday at a lovely location with great company! Thanks Scott for organising and a massive thanks to Steve for transporting me to and from the event .

Not sure if anyone else took up the opportunity to go on the 'Wheels' ride inside the museum, Ryan had renamed it the tunnel of love, after we had got on the ride that was...

Cake and refreshments from Wanda were top quality as always, thank you very much!

Finally, thanks Dave for the entertainment on the way home, your car is fast (although not GTR fast ) but is obviously slowed down considerably by washer bottle fluids from other Scoobs...

I have loads of pics to put up at some point too....

It was my fault he couldn't quite go past the GTR oh and all the stuff in the boot hehe. That guy in the GTR was hot too.

So funny with the vroom vroom red mist full concentration (in keeping up with the GTR) then slosh from Steves windscreen on the roundabouts haha. I kept going from screaming to oh he is hot to hahaha when steve got him with the windscreen washers. A roller coaster ride home
