Default Charity Summer fun day - Sunday 19th July

I've been asked by Cats Protection to see if any of us fancy going to their summer fun day again this year. A few of us went to this a couple of years ago and it was a nice day out - something a bit different, being primarily non-car related!

Its all in the aim of fundraising for charity. For any folk that don't know, I foolishly spent 9 years of my life working in their IT team (until 2012) and still know a lot of the folks there, hence they've asked if we'd like to come back again

http://ncac.cats.org.uk/EventFull.as...&m=3422&f=7133

It's set in the charity's HQ in Chelwood Gate, which has over 50 acres of grounds in Ashdown Forest to enjoy. Plenty of things to entertain kids... plus bbq, beer tent, stalls/raffles, live music, birds of prey and a some classic cars/bikes for the blokes to look at. So its down to us to add something more modern to the car park There's a cafe onsite and a nice pub a couple of minutes stroll away too.

I'm hoping we can get maybe 5 or 6 cars interested in coming along? Without sounding rude, I think more than that and we'd swamp the other cars that are there!

Some pics from a couple of years ago:
http://www.southeastscoobies.co.uk/v...ad.php?t=15970

I'm going with Claire & the little'un (i'm not sure which of the girls wants to see the kitty cats more!!). Anyone interested?

If you're bringing a "Wanda special" picnic, let us know what you've spent and we'll all chip in some money

If you're free to pop down and meet with us at 10:45am, then you'll be able to park with us, otherwise I expect it'll be the public car park for you

Hayleigh and I had a great day today, a nice place to look around and funny to see everyone's a softie when it comes to cats! South East Kitty Cats isn't far from the making...

Thanks for the wonderful picnic Wanda, yo and Dave are both very generous in what you do on the catering front for all of us!

Look forward to seeing you all again soon, hope you managed to get away with sneaking the kitten home Si...
