Default Exhaust question!

Hi guys. Does the attached link look like it is what it says it is?

http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/291482568212

If so, would it be any better than my standard wrx manifold and/or downpipe?

Not sure on ur part but a Harvey trick up pipe and ported headers from alyn at AS Performance would be a huge improvement...

Think STi up pipe is an improvement on wrx one also...

I would just change your existing up pipe for now, either an Sti one or one of Harvey's trick ones for a few quid more, the standard WRX up pipe has a cat in it.
Not sure what that is on eBay but the manifold looks like the standard Afair to me, didn't think there was a "prodrive manifold"

Replacing any of that lot will require a remap afterwards

Cheers guys. Think I already have a decat up pipe. Would like a sports cat down pipe as that is still standard. Already got 325bhp so would that make much difference with another remap?
Also my manifold is blowing a bit. Could get it welded, or take the opportunity to upgrade, but again only if it would make much difference!

As Ginola says that looks like a standard exhaust manifold and uppipe (not downpipe like the advert says). Prodrive didn't change it on the PPP cars.... but in typical ebay fashion someone read online that prodrive changed the exhaust and ended up with 2+2 = 5.

What year is your wrx? Sure the later blob wrx's onwards didn't have the cat in the uppipe? Thought it was the bugs and early blobs only?

You might gain 10/15bhp with a sports cat and sorting the manifold out, de-cat and fixed manifold with porting might yield 15/20 or a little more all with a remap of course, which turbo are you running?
