It's a good laugh isn't it, I did the same as you and cooked the pads. Need to invest in some decent ones before a second attempt or any kind of track day.

Glad it was a good trip with no dramas.

Just out of interest, where did you stay?

Deffo pukka, also you boys forgot to mention how MANY steps there are to the top of the castle tower lol

Impressed with the little civic, very capable car ,
Loved the atmosphere in the car park with just so many top end cars

lol, its the walk up the winding path outside that knackers me out more than the steps up the tower

How many laps did you manage to get in? I saw a pic yesterday of the traffic queueing back up the road just to even get in the car park, looked silly busy.

Managed 5 laps, was going to do another but the brakes just smelt like they had enough,
It's was mad , every lap I finished the track was closed and we was parked up the finished straight waiting to get into the car park ,
There's a clip on you tube of a mini smashing to bits yesterday so that was prob one, but I reakon well over a thousand cars, the roads were solid

Also worth a note, they was strict on cars, I had no front number plate on as removed it in the car park as have cooling ducts, I had to refit,
A guy in a m3 with full wrap around buckets was refused as to restrictive, and so fair few being turned away

That section is from 2:40 in this video from a lap i did in May. Not a good place to go off!
