Default Show Plates?

HI Gents,

Seeing as the group (SES) tries to do quite a few shows, and meets e.t.c - has anyone ever looked at the option of SES selling Show Registration Plates?

Could also be good for non show, but group meets? All clip on the SES show plates e.t.c.??

Its just an idea - wondered if it had already been thought of, or whether people would actually consider it - or whether im just being a douche bag and should crawl back into my hole? ha ha

If peeps, and the mods like the idea, and can send me a design, or logos that should be used, I could always get my signwriter mate to mock up a design, and get costs to have them made?

Ryan

A load of members had some made up about 5 or 6 years ago These are a couple of pics of mine from 2009/2010:

Can't remember who the supplier was though! To be fair, I don't really use it anymore as I kept forgetting it was on there (driven home from events a few times with it still on the car )

If there's enough interest, we could look into it after Germany though.

Hi Steve I really want a set of those show plates you have on your car in the pics just with Martin H on them instead of Steve PPP where did you get them made and how much did they cost?

It would need to be looked into, we ran a batch of show plates in 2008 as I think the law was change regarding their production, so we got in beforehand. I know you can still get so-called showplates online, but i've only seen plates based on the standard white/yellow front/rear backgrounds (with different fonts/logos etc).

In 2008, they cost £12.50 each. No idea who the supplier was as it was organised by Worzel.

However, I don't think i've seen one used in the last year at SES events, so not sure its worth the hassle trying to sort?

Thanks for the reply Steve well If there is someone who could organize & supply me with a set of the plates you had on your car that would be great though I doubt it as the laws changed like you said, well hopefully Ryan's aka Rdlangy1 signwriter could make me a set of the plates you had on your car just with the white/yellow plates??
