Default The Type-25 - all shiny!

Well, the car spent the day with Master Po (Ron) and Grasshopper (Keith), and I am really happy with what they've achieved . The paint I supplied turned out to be no good, but despite that they have worked wonders - the car has never had such attention to detail paid.
So here are a few updated pics:

They even had time to make the engine compartment look new!

Sincere thanks to the guys, I'll try to maintain it just like this

I was hoping to have a few stone chips and a spot where some kind soul stubbed out a cigarette painted, but the colour wasn't right. Nevertheless, I'm over the moon with what was done

If you could come up with a decent replacement I could be tempted, but I have no idea what that would be. I do have an itch for a Lotus Europa TC though.....

What did you use on plastic trim in engine bay?

Autosmart g101 gets good reviews, but I just use tescos apc followed by auto finesse revive which is great on all the trim.

Depends on where you go, and what you want done. Take a look at kds detailings website, it'll make you cry. Kelly is an out and out perfectionist.

Bloody hell I took a look and I think I'm in the wrong game mate lol, their work does look amazing though so I suppose it's worth it if you've got a really nice car but mine isn't really anything special compared to some but just like to look after it

Just noticed the thread resurrection!

That was probably my wife (if it was my car). I still have the car (over 9 years now) but don't drive it much. Did take it to Goodwood a few weeks back and met up with a few of the guys. It started off the journey clean but the rain soon changed that. I generally use it for taking to race meetings (went to Brands a couple of weeks ago) and the odd trip to the swimming pool.
You'd have to ask Ron about the stuff he used on the plastic trim in the engine bay, and I don't know if he's still doing the detailing, a pity if he's not as he is good!

You never know, we might get to another meet this year, I realised talking to Steve at the Goodwood meet that I missed the whole of 2013's meets.
