nice clean looking car ,
realy love the classics sort of wish i had held out and waited for the right classic instead of going newage .....
what polish etc did you end up using? i have alod of detailing gear but tend to just use either the zaino polish then sealent or a light menz polish then bos on the scooby as the paint seems soft also only realy use the da on the scooby

It was a tad cold but once you start moving I get quite warm. Lol.

I'm gonna be honest I have never done this before on my cars. I've never really cared about the outside and more what's under the bonnet.

But with This scoob the outside is so nice I thought....... See how it goes.

To be honest I really enjoyed it.

I had it washed by a local hand car wash as I was pushed for time.
The clay was your usual meguiers clay in a box. Worked out quite well as there was half a cly bar left and a fair bit of detailer left.

Like I said I have never done this before so I'm not to familiar with other products as meguiers seems to be quite popular I went for both their polish and wax which I still have left to do.
So pics to follow when I can find some time.

Working nights is a killer at the mo.
I am massively surprised at the feel of the paint after!!!! It feels like silk compared to before.

Thanks pal.

I still havnt polished or waxed it yet. Bloody weather is shocking and struggling to get out there and finish it.

Although I am amazed with the clay bar. Recommended.

Thanks scooby doo,
It was love at first sight. Also had a 95 ra a few years ago and wanted the raw over slight comfort from a new age.
But since your post about evos I'm begining to get an itch I have to subside!!!!
How are you finding it?

I always use www.cleanyourcar.com - fantastic products and great prices... They do a box of 3 mixed grade clay bars - about £14.99 from memory. get a good detailing spray to use with them though - I use chemical guys detailer... Smells like Malibu so I get pizzed while I clay ! ha ha
