Default Karl's Blob Wrx

After driving around in the Saxo for just over a year ( Pictured Below )

It was Time to move on to something bigger! Insurance on an Sti was insane being 23 and Dad found a Wrx near from one of his friends.

First thing i did to it was Cut the Original Grill apart as i wasn't going to be conned into spending 80quid on a mass produced one.

Followed by a Front Mount Intercooler.

Next was getting rid of the number plate plastic as i didn't like it and was in the way over the intercooler, Smoothed it over and dad resprayed the bumper. I havnt seen any other subaru with this modification done to it.

Then Took the Headlights apart and sprayed them black and made a new number plate bracket so it can sit at the side.

Put a few guages in it Boost and Oil Temp, Didn't want them up my pillar or loose the clock so made a fibre glass plate up and put a switch in that dims them for night time driving.

Last thing that has been done to it so far is Coilovers that i got for Christmas.
And this is how it stands atm.

Went for a De-Spoilered look

Then Finally sorted out a proper cold air feed

Anddd thennn sprayed the Intercooler Black

Very nice, thought about some spacers to bring the wheels out a bit to fill the arches? Cheaper than getting new alloys/tires.

Nice work

As Mortster says, wheels look a bit lost under the arches. Some wide alloys would look cool on that.

After an Accident in the Subaru it's taken a massive turn

It's not to everyone tastes of which im aware. But i've currently had nothing but good feedback over it

The Car is now white, New set of 18x9 Alloys, Black Roof and Boot.....

The wheels will be going White in the next week or so when i;ve got some free time and i also need to put the rubber sleeving on the sideskirt

Will also be buying the wide track rear bumper at some point but due to funds it will have to remain as the standard for the time being.

Will get some better pictures once i've finished it

Cheers all

Liking the white, but the black boot just looks like you've had a prang and you're waiting to have it sprayed. I'd go with an anthracite colour on the alloys too. But we all need to be different or it'd be boring.

I think the whole thing looks awesome. The black roof n boot are cool and the wheels look awesome. Bit of a mish mash of colour but it works for me
