Looks like I'm going to be looking for another classic as mine has done a 133000 miles on the same engine and spoke to Alan Jeffrey from engine tuner and would defo need a full engine rebuild but a lot of money so been surfing the net and found a nice mica blue classic in Carluke with full service history , just had all brake discs and pads on four corners , clutch replaced 1500 miles ago and has 76000 on the clock I think I'm going to view the car .

Best of luck with your search Scott, I'm sure something will come up. What will you be doing with your current car?

Already found a nice mica blue classic that I'm going to have to look at in the flesh and I will be stripping all the parts and replacing them with the original parts that I have keep then getting rid of it cheap as it's good for a project as it needs some body Work done to it .

Do you know if it's been in the country long?

Still interested in one if the price is right, don't seem to be many around for the 99/00 and it's the only option without going ECUTEK or Syvecs. There was one on ScabbyNet the other day but he was asking top whack without the commander, I'm not going to pay over the odds for one, I'd rather wait. Would like to go down the Power FC route as Scott knows his way around them and lives round the corner from me.

don't know how long its been in the country for but the guy I spoke to doesn't know how to price a type r as that is a bargain I think and £350 for one up here with the commander but I think its for a v3/v4 shane which is a good price .

Type R looks really clean, wish my arches were like that, haven't looked at prices to see what they're worth.

Power FC is a good price but needs to be for a V5/V6

Haven't seen one for sale yet for a v5/v6 but still looking for you . Some of the type r's are ranging from 5-6 grand at the moment so is a good price I'm just wondering how long it will sit there for .

It does look nice, but you may want to see it in the dry to make sure the paintwork is in order.

Hard to tell when a car is wet like that.

Hope it is a good 'un though, as it does appear to be a nice car for the money.

Don't think I can afford to buy it at the moment unless I get a loan but I don't want to go down that route I will just save for now atleast I know how much I need to save for a good classic .

Funnily enough, I looked again after posting and realised it was ice all over... initially I thought it was only the roof that was frozen.

Even more reason to check it over again, although not if you aren't going to buy... just in case it is flawless!!
