Default boost

1st 2nd and 3rd....I its holds 1bar 4th and 5th it holds 1.1bar...im running the prova ecu which I thought was a 1.1bar map...shouldn't I see 1.1bar in all gears??

sound normal, you will always see more boost as the car runs higher load

You will only ever see close to the 'specified' boost in 3rd, 4th, 5th with it creeping ever closer to or slightly beyond 1.1bar as the selected gear increases i.e
For a car mapped to 1.1 bar you could expect :
1st : 0.9bar
2nd : 1bar
3rd : 1.05 - 1.1bar
4th : 1.1bar
5th : 1.1-1.15bar

Some ECU have the ability to have gear dependant boost where the boost duty is increased for the lower gears therefore giving you equal boost throughout. But this wasn't introduced until mid way through the Newage range of ECU and then dropped by the time they went Hawkeye.
