Nice, but they do take a bit of MAF rescaling (my Hawk ran very very lean on the couple of pre-check/pre-map squirts, when I was mapping for it).
Made a hell of a lot of noise too, so it came off again a few weeks later.

Ye, I will probably wait and fit in conjunction with an FMIC but not sure yet., I don't know if I would gain much over the standard airbox by fitting it now and scaling, I would need to pipe some cold air from the fog cover area + fit a heat shield ideally.. Did you custom make your heat shield Scott?

No not on the Hawk. The custom shield is on the Classic.
I knocked up a cardboard template then cut and bend the ally over a workbench.

Don't see the point in heat shield , once your moving it's going to get cold air anyway and the hot stuff will be forced out under the car

Got to agree with C.J. here, I guess if you made a totally sealed and insulated shield you may see some benefit, but the std bit of alloy/stainless will make minimal difference
