Default For the Plane Geeks amongst us......

Spent the last few days up in Lincolnshire at the folks place, and had a bit of an aeronautical overdose.....

Will start with the Typhoons......(more to come from past generations)

Photo's taken over a couple of days. Clear blue skies one day and grey the other.
We even had a full on display as the pilot practiced for up-coming events in the UK and Dubai.

These last 5 were taken from the garden of my parents......it's not the place to have a quiet snooze in the sun, or even conversation........

It is nice to see them flying after spending 1000's of hours messing about with the blackbox electronics in a lab.

Think the Lightning is the best plane we made. Remember watching them take off and land at Lucus and being lucky enough to sit in the cockpit of one.

That's interesting, where did you work? Other than Deutsch and GD's I didn't realise there was anywhere else in Hastings making stuff for Eurofighter or Typhoon or EF2000 or whatever they're calling it this year.
