Default Germany Fact Finding Tour 2009

Chocks reporting in after my return from the Hun Homeland what what!

I used the double cloaking device produced at MI555 recently and disguised myself as that scarecrow chappie to "blend in" with the bunch of reprobates that went deep into the Hun homeland. I think that no-one spotted the ruse throughout the mission and the whole episode was a complete success.

Firstly, as agreed with the other TMT boys, we threw a bag of sand into the scarecrow chappies oil and waited for the magic to happen. It duely happened 29k from the hotel (which I am happy to mention was run by a lovely lady from lighty what what ) and the brigand managed to scrape it back to the hotel to await his recovery. Overnight I sneaked out with much stealth and guile and an amount of dark clothing what what and placed the Snark Narfling Angulated Granular detector deep within the bowels of the stricken machine.

The following morning, some chap speaking something resembling martian / gibberish turned up to collect the hungover scarecrow chappies battered wings what what. And dutifully loaded onto his V2 Rocket transporter:

So off the hun dutifully trotted with the SNAG detector in place and ready to compile lots and lots of very important information for the cause what what. I do understand that the worzel chappy was upset with the loss of his wings for the weekend, but there have to be casualties in war, sad but unfortunately true.

Message to be continued what what!!!!!

Good old Snag Detector! Don't know where the Squadron would be without those, Old Chap!!

Perhaps the Hungover Scarecrow Chappie will get those "Wagon Attachment" bibs and bobs sorted while his kite's away!!!

Ah ha!!!! Chocks reporting back again..... what what!!!

After setting in place the SNAG Detector aboard the Scarecrow chappies car, I decided to venture out into the bowels of the Hun countryside.

While deep undercover in the town of Adenau, I happened to chance upon what I tend to think is a plot by the Hun to start all over again what what! 65 years after the last bloody nose we gave them, they are developing a ground attack craft of dispicable and terrifying proportions. I managed to take 2 pictures of this terrible beast, which vaguely looks like the Russian Ecranoplane or Caspian Sea Monster. And although these are on a much smaller scale, do not take them lightly as the agility of these things is pretty startling what what what what!!!!!!

In the picture below we see one of these beasts on formation with a fighter. I was shaking to my boots when they rolled out of the mist.

To see our nemesis at such close quarters made me stoicly stand up and sing the National Anthem followed by Knights in White Wagons, it was the only way I could get myself back on an even keel, and by jingo's I was extremely roused by this. But not as roused as I was when out of nowhere came Blatty Batterson from Mini Squadron in full on attack mode, he pulled up along side the Hun monster and took aim with what looked like a Jamwanger 4003 Bullet Headed Biscuit Cannon. The first shot took out the Porker Fighter escort, he then levelled the cannon again and took aim at the beast (refer to picture below - what what!)

What happend next was unfortunately out of my sight, all I heard was a very large Kersplunksplatter and saw a puff of blue oily smoke rising skywards. Bravo I shouted to the heavens, but my feeling of elation was turned to despair as I saw the beast round a distant corner without a mark upon it. I ran along side the road of doom to find a mini shaped layer of ash with a pair of goggles sat atop it. Poor Blatty had bought it! Blatty's bravery and derring doo in the face of such adversity should be recognised. His unselfish actions in the face of overwhelming odds was uplifting to the point of stiffness what what!! I raised a glass of "Scooby Milk" to him that very evening in the "Saloonies Mess". You will be missed young Blatty, what what what what what!!!!

While on my way back to said mess, I did have my spirits raised again by a message from above. While walking by a tretch of the "Road of Doom" some lettering mysteriously and magically appeared on it. I knew that I was being looked after by a higher being, when his name was etched into the road in front of me. Praise be what what!

More report to follow very soon what what!

You are mad, Chocks, you are!!!

A fine bit of writing on that tarmac, and a fine tale too! In fact it reminded me of the time the Squadron Wagons followed the twisting tarmac in formation the whole length of the Nordschleife. Then I realised it hasn't happened yet!

That Caspian Sea Monster was a fine bit of kit. You obviously saw the doco on it on the telly!! Or did you just see the James May thing? Always thought a wagon travelling low over the water on a cushion of strawberry fool would be quite cool. It's arranging it all that's difficult. Still the Russkys in those days had the funding!!!
