Default classic wrx, boost question.

Hopefully simple boost question, ive recently picked up a early 260hp model Wrx, Runing Arc tmic and the stock td05, fully decatted it make's 1bar then tails off to .9. i presume the 3inch system causes boost creep. Over mods are hks panel filter with full samco turbo inlet and resonator delete and walbro. now as its been so long since owning a scoob or even a turbo car, This one feels feels a fair bit slower than my previous v1 sti that was only dynoed @ 284. The thing iv'e noticed and my main question is on the Lamco gauge ive noticed its taking its time to reach 0.5bar then when hits this it flys down to 1 bar and the car go's well. are they all like this? ive tried removing stock bov and returning no difference, tried dawes device setting it to 1bar no difference.

any advice or is it normal. thinking of going to Surrey R/R to get her fueling checked, with the mods id of thought she would be very close to 290 bhp but really feels like a 220bhp.
