Default SES Meet - The Fairmile, Cobham - Sunday 10th March

Going to get the list going for March's meet already as its a week or two earlier than our normal monthly slot - that's because we're having a joint meet with Surrey Scoobies at the Fairmile on Sunday 10th March. The meet starts at 12:30pm.

Surrey always have a good turnout and with SES going too, it should be a mega-sized meet

The Fairmile
Portsmouth Road
Cobham
Surrey
KT11 1BW

http://www.chefandbrewer.com/pub/fai...-cobham/p1206/

Surrey Scoobies have an agreement with the pub for all Jap cars to be able to park on the lawn. Anyone coming in anything non-Jap will have to use the main car park.

Cheers folks

Mothers Day that day I think, just heads up for other people thinking of going, surprised the pub won't be packed out with that.

Used to go to Fairmile years ago with the Audi lot and also my mate in his Scoob.

Hadn't twigged it was Mothers Day, but Surrey always fix their meet on the 2nd Sunday of each month so it won't be shifted to another date.

We'll wing it

BUMP

Time to get the list going for this meet, Surrey Scoobies already have 10 cars attending, plus Essex Scooby Crew (ESC) are coming over too (8 cars on their list so far).

Would be good for SES to take a big group along to make it a huge meet

Bump.

If its dry tomorrow morning and i get a chance to put some rear windows back in the scoob, then i'll be in that. If its raining and/or i'm lazy, then i'm afraid i'll be in the Mondeo and parking with the riff raff.....

so as to not risk a big argument with her indoors, i think i may have to miss this, she is not impressed that i want to goto a meet on mothers day and skip family get together.

as i spent most of yesterday out with steve collecting scooby bits, i feel i must obey today, sorry guys.

i will keep trying to grind her down this morning, but i don't hold much hope.

have a good one.

Tbh this one wasn't much of a joint Surrey/SES meet, it was a Surrey meet with a couple of extras i think! Essex guys didn't come in the end, they've postponed until Surrey's April meet.

Cold weather and mothers day didn't help. Back to normal for next months i'm sure

I counted twenty-one Scoobs, an Evo and a Mondeo (squirrelled away).

Good showing on a chilly Mothers'Day.

I'm glad you were as I'd not heard your car running. Very nice.

Apparently, when you blipped the throttle before turning the car off the nearby horses were spooked. That's proof of a healthy exhaust note.

Nice to see some cars from SES at the meet. Pity the weather wasn't a bit kinder, but at least the pub was warm!
