Anyone using one of these?

Yeah I've used similar from ebay - think mine was around £20.
It works well with the Torque app on Android on my phone.
The cheap scanners can be a bit hit and miss though... and slow...

I have one but cannot get it to work on my jdm bugeye, not sure if the ecu's are different from uk ones? Works on wife's car.

JDM is SSM, not OBDII.

Works for some codes, but generally no use I believe.

The Bluetooth things are good value though, seen them used to good effect.

SSM is Subaru Select Monitor, which is the protocol used on JDM Scoobs instead of OBDII.

The ports are the same. I believe the latest Torque app does support SSM, so you may be able to use it.

Good tool with torque pro especially the video plug on with map and data overlay.

If you have at home any laptop have look on this,I've used this on my friend car and working very well

Its free and you need just supporting cable,I've tried cheap cable from eBay and worked very well on friend car(I've reset his TCU and not sure if will not work too with ABS faults)

My OBD port doesn't work! Just have to buy a Toucan then!

From what I've read mate you need to get a different Bluetooth sender thing that can read SSM. Once you have one of those, should all work ok....
