Default Fitting Headers and up-pipe

How realistic is this as a DIY job, I have a set of GT spec III headers (second hand) and a new Harvey Up-Pipe (with new studs) to fit before the 20th Feb. I've got to wrap the headers as well, I've see the Harvey guide and will be using lockwire anybody got a set of lockwire pliers I can borrow? I'm going to try to wrap each pipe separately!

Pain to do unless on a ramp. Nuts can seize and so you may need plenty of lubricant and room to lever them off. Unless you can get use of a ramp I would recommend getting someone who has to do it for you! You never know though as they may come off easy.

Think I'm going to have to take the car somewhere then, really don't want to get them Half off then have to give up and then have the issue that the car is immovable!

Main issue can be removing the down pipe due to access angle of the bolts. Assuming yours has been of and not overtightened your half way there. Turbo to up pipe bolts rarely give trouble and if they do access is better and easier to correct issues. Just make sure your using decent sockets that won't slip. Although not a great job to do without a ramp, it can be done.
