Default SRR today

Popped down to Surrey rolling road today to get the scooby health checked and basically see what it's pushing out.

Quite pleased with the results from having a standard car and map with just the upgrade of a back box and a green cotton panel filter.

Charlie did say its running a little lean and to change upgrade my fuel pump and to get Mr Simon roe / JGM to check my maf out as it could possibly be on its way out?

Other than that Charlie was happy and said its running sweet.

He was there today, went out the back to have a spy on his little project. Going well by look of it!

Knowing C.J it'll be up and running in no time, he doesn't hang about and tends to get things right first time most times!

Nice figure's there Rich but yes running quite lean, so MAF may be a little tired.
Power would of been down a bit if fuelling was to spec, but still in the low to mid 270's I would expect.

What would be your next move though Scott, get the maf checked or changed for new.

Might just get a fuel pump anyway as mine is original and like Charlie said probably tired.

Change the MAF for a new OE one and a Walbro 255 pump. Probably about £160 all in.
Or get a new MAF, run down to me and we'll go for a blast with the lambda up ya pipe with the old one then the new one.

If it's OK you can then get the pump later.

Cheers, was a good afternoon there.

The mapper will always drive as they need to read and watch your dials / gauges whilst the run is in process.

There's was a lovely nissan gtr there today pushing a very tidy 595bhp, sounded fantastic.

I was followed my an MP4-12C towards SRR earlier, I went round the roundabout and over the M3 and he headed down the road towards SRR, sounded good as he left the roundabout, could even here it over my clattery old oil burner.

Colours are for the ealier model's MY93 - MY98.

You just want the MAF insert P/N 22794AA010

They used to be about £75 but I think they are nearer to £100 now.
Only get genuine though as many aftermarket are poo !!!!!

Could you pm me a price for a maf insert then please and a walbro 255 fuel pump. Many thanks. Wouldn't hurt to change both on the old girl.

Many thanks for the offer sim of your other one but I'm going to go new parts all the way as its a delicate touch and go area.
