I'm starting to think about it now too!

Even though only two weeks ago I said I wouldn't start down that route

Dont do it! The Sti tmic is good for 400bhp. Your not even going to notice if you only do short blast's. It's not just the price of the fmic dont forget the re-map price. The fact your cutting into your pride & joy & you do gain a little more of the dreaded lag. If i used my car every day i would not have changed from my tmic. The black Sti im useing at the moment is so much better for an everyday drive with the oe tmic. Just my opinion.

After perusing the Jap Performance Parts website last night, there are many other things I would rather spend the money on. Coil overs for one

May as well have new mate. Md321t thats big bhp Im only chaseing high three's bhp wise so ported headers with matched up pipe. The 2.5 & Scott should take care of the lag. Bring on the torque

Thought I had a t coming soon but turned out to be a s
2.5 will happen but the 6 speed had to be done so the car is ready for the power and as in all modding you end up spending more !
6 speed box ended up being box , 180 diff , sti drive shafts , sti hubs , brembo rear calipers, disc's , DCCDpro controller and a nice new flywheel & clutch to take the torque expected from the 2.5 !
Oh well its only money
