The White One-update thread

Be warned this thread is likely to run for a year or more.

The white one is now off the road and stage 1 of the refresh is under way.
A forced refresh due to problems with plug thread in head.

The rough plan is
1. Engine out and full strip and refresh
2. strip out engine bay and paint
3. strip entire body
4. send rolling shell for paint
5 refit all body parts and fit engine
6 sell to Pieman

I have made a start with removing engine, basically just getting bits off. Now ready to undo engine to gearbox bolts, Fuel Lines, down pipe and a few little bits and peices, then engine can come out.

Had another little tinker today .
Am recovering from a bi of a health scare , so took it easy.
CJ coming next week to lift the engine out .

I will continue to strip the front end down and the engine bay.

The wiring needs some serious sorting out, it's really not pretty.
Will probably do away with all the bright light stuff and tidy all the harness etc up.

IC bottle etc removed
