Default The White One

Be warned this thread is likely to run for a year or more.

The white one is now off the road and stage 1 of the refresh is under way.
A forced refresh due to problems with plug thread in head.

The rough plan is
1. Engine out and full strip and refresh
2. strip out engine bay and paint
3. strip entire body
4. send rolling shell for paint
5 refit all body parts and fit engine
6 sell to Pieman

I have made a start with removing engine, basically just getting bits off. Now ready to undo engine to gearbox bolts, Fuel Lines, down pipe and a few little bits and peices, then engine can come out.

Should be:

1 Sell to Pieman
2 come with me to drop it off at RCM
3 come collect it when it's done

Martyn, as this is going to be a big one is it worth splitting your posts to one thread and comments in another to keep it clean and easy to follow? should be a great thread about the restoration of an important car and knowing you it will be done right.
