Default My 4th lap this year (with a little moment on the mud)

Despite slowing down a bit after having a wobble into Brunchen, it was still my quickest lap of the weekend at 9:24 (altho 12 seconds slower than i did last year with no brakes ). Would have looked cool from a rear facing camera as the dust i kicked up behind me was unbelieveable.

Traffic and temperatures didn't help the times either, but it was all good fun.

Yeah, on my HTC. Elastic band around the passenger sun visor to hold it there.

Nice one Steve.

Was the wobble because you spotted the silver BMW behind you?

Yes mate, i didn't think he was going to stick it up the inside but i left him room to do so in case - so he walked right through it. Just ran out of grip on the outside.

Indeed mate. Had to chuckle, even at the time. Doesn't look to bad on camera but was made worse by such a narrow strip of grass on the outside there.

And videos of my 1st and 2nd lap this year.

1st lap i was on my own, so managed to point the camera in the wrong direction slightly Had pretty bad brake fade so it was a slow lap. Brakes came back towards the end of the lap and were much better for the rest of the trip so guess they were a bit glazed from normal driving and the first serious heat cycle took a while to clear it.

2nd lap was slightly better with Claire in car as well. Both of them had too much traffic to really push on.

Nice one Steve. Its amazing how many less times you have to change gear with the 5 speed box. Car looking and sounding awesome

Cheers guys.

I feel that i know the track fine, i just need to learn the correct lines in some places. I know theres a sub 9-minute lap in the car, just couldn't find it this year with the traffic!
