Default Lowered the scoob finally

Finally managed to get out in between all this blooming rain and finish lowering the scooby!

Before:

And after on Tein s-tech springs and standard sti struts:

It feels ten times better, just need to get a fast road set up done.

It does feel stiffer but at the same time the overall ride is still pretty comfortable.

Will it sag a little more over time?? I think my Eibachs did on the newage.

If they were new springs expect to lose up to another 5-10mm as the springs settle.

thanks chaps, very pleased with the look.

They were brand new springs so a little lower would be nice, any lower and i could be tempted for the de-spoilered carbon boot look though.

Arb's and links not done yet but they will be as they are pretty....erm....shall we say weather beaten ( not using the word rusty with nige about ) but all in good time.

Looking at getting the rear arches sorted next (weather beaten also) and this will mean that what with having the front blown too over due to stone chips im going to have every thing bar the roof and boot lid and rear bumper re-sprayed

Thanks all , I think it may have settled a tiny bit more as i cliped the bottom of the exhaust back box as i crawed of the drive this morn.

An angled entry and exit is needed from now on.

Having had mine done I'd recommend getting the whole lower 1/2 of the car done with the blend on the C pillars - really wont cost that much more than getting the front and rear arches blown over and will sort any chips on the bottoms of the doors. Mine cost about £1800 I think but that was with front grille, splitter and skirts fitting a well, plus removing dent/crease from boot and dent from bonnet.

Im going to eventually have the front bumper, bonnet, both wings, all doors, both skirts and both rear arches done all for £1280.
Krissy b advised i use this paint shop local to me as its a small firm who get themselves work on reputation and recommendation rather than insurance work where its just rushed through for a cost. they do custom hotrod paint jobs and ive seen some of there work!
