Default Exhaust question

Right probably bit of a silly question, i know my car has at least 2 cats, one in the downpipe and one in the center section, im planning on getting a full exhaust from the turbo back but i was just wondering a couple of things.

Firstly, is there a cat in the up pipe?

Secondly, if there is will this be enough to get it through an mot?

My cars and 03 wrx sti type uk

cheers Andy

No, there's no cat in the uppipe - it was on WRX's only. Even if there was, it is a tiny little thing and doesn't do much, certainly wouldn't get you through an MOT with a decat from turbo back.

your car only has a resonator in the centre section, you do have 2x cats (unless its a PPP) but these basically make up a 2piece down-pipe..............
