Default Intercooler and grill painted

I'd been meaning to repaint my intercooler for sometime now and upon inspecting it the other day it appeared i had collided with a low flying aircraft or a Wasp on steroids!!

I'm not the most mechanically or DIY gifted of people so always do some research before i go in blind and mess it up!

Before during and after.......

Used wet and dry sand paper, some wire wool and Hammerite Metal Paint to prep and paint and used tweezers, very small screwdrivers and a couple of toothpicks to pull out the fins (which took frickin ages!) on the intercooler..... i reckon i've saved 5kg in weight judging by the amount of flies and small stones I extracted!!
