Default Anyone want a job ?

This is a job we have lined up.

Need to cut off the complete overhang.

No scaffolding allowed from ground up.

No noise, no vibration on structure, no disturbance to guests and NOTHING is allowed to fall.

LOL

Scooby Hoo

I haven't read the MSRA (Method Statement / Risk Assessment) and there is a good reason why. I haven't written it yet

I don't have the luxuries of reading how to do any of our contracts. I compile all documents myself Hugh and the timescale will be what I tell them it will be.
I'm still on the case and haven't worked out duration yet but a guess would be 5 days / 2 men to complete.

I don't receive any H&S issues either but they will be part of my MSRA. No generic MSRA's here mate, I have to write a complete "Section 10 MSRA) for each job.

I need to assess everything that can wrong, then produce 4 grades of "how likely". ranging from unlikely (1 point) to possibly which is 4 points.

I then need to suggest "how bad" things will be regarding failures ranging from Minor (which is 1 point) to Critical which is 4 points.

If the total points of what can go wrong and how bad total 3 or more I then need to come up with a plan explaining how we intend to tackle the problem in a safe manner.

Needless to say EVERYTHING ends up with more than 3 points.

My completed documents are then sent to the main contractor, H&S Officers, Structural Engineers and in some cases suppliers.

I often hear we were not the cheapest quote but always hear we are the most thorough and that's why we are awarded a large % of what I quote for.
