Default Parts for 6 speed conversion

Hi,
Can someone advise me on all the parts im gonna need to do a 6 speed conversion so i can make a list,

Also what would be the better box to go for am i right in thinking its the 01-03 uk box ?? Dont wont dccd

Plus box codes would be handy if any one knows

If you have any of the parts i need id interested

Non-DCCD then you want and early UK box 01-03 unless you like short ratios then a JDM is fine. You will need a Cradle mount and prop shaft plus a matching ratio rear diff, as your's is type R I guess you have the JDM ratio (can't remember the numbers) so you will need a UK ratio diff - most will be R180 so I guess you will need to source a R160 for your car.
Also budget for a clutch and flywheel and you may need the starter.

Easy if it's a type r, just done it on mine
All you need is the gearbox diff and prop, as you've already got the r180 rear diff the 6 speed shafts bolt on. You'll need the cradle as well and the stub axles but it's a fairly straight forward swap

Are all JDM gear boxes shorter ratio's?

Just wondering after your comments nick as i only thought the other day my 5th gear seems rather short.
