Hi all,

just driven to gravesend and back to drop the GF off at work ! Snow is coming down pretty steady and has been for the last few hours.

Will be interesting on the pick up journey at 6.00am as the roads were pretty grim and mostly untreated !!!

Snow drifts Bring on the sideways action lol

We seem to be mid way. Got a good coating of snow but doesnt seem to be enough to stop anything.

Sounds like we got off lightly then, not even 2" in Burgess Hill.

Looked on the CCTV cameras at work (Chelwood Gate) and it looks like about 6" up there too, with deeper bits in drifts.

same story in the bourne..been up to rescue the grandparents from there gaff as they live on the downs... seen so many people trying to tow each other up serious inclines in there front wheel drive cars....and clearly not going anywhere???? and the point of this exercise??

just amazes me how many people dont have an ounce of the common when it comes to things like "one day of snow"... quick lets panic buy bread and milk..incase the ice age grabs hold....

me being the good samaritan that i am just drove on by in the old mans 4x4 "thinking to myself that,ll teach you for being a plum!!!"

would have stopped if it was elderly people or an emergency dont get me wrong!!!

sorry rant overoff to build a snow man

Just got back from a day with the wife and kids. Built a 10ft snowman and got a pic off me sitting on its head. Sledding over bluewater ( insane hills being as it was a quarry) and left the blue water staff a nice little prezzie ( an 80ft c&Łk and ba@@s).
Don't judge me I need to let the inner child out now and again. Hahaha
