Default Giving the P1 a good clean today

Well ........ 5 months without a clean and although family & friends are saying she looks lovely but I know my P1 like I know my Mrs minge, and I can see it's covered in slime (the P1), so I'll be at it all day.

Will put some piccys up late folks

I gave the daily driver a quick wash this morning:wash: and was going to do the 22 but! I came in and am now watching the footy

May get the gear back out and start again later:wash:

Bet its nice being able to wash it again and I imagine however clean it is / was, you'd be out washing it anyway

Do you actualy use water on that rusty car? You will need a tissue in one hand as you have sold your pride & joy and a broom in the other to clean the bits of the floor. Ahhhh reminds me of the early Xr3 days. Every week it got quicker as it got lighter

Shame it was overcast as photos didn't come out to great.

I'll be doing the engine bay next week as that is going to take AGES to get back to how it was.

Love this shot, makes it look like a radio controlled car with a big ariel sticking out the roof. Looking the nuts as always.

Gramps .......... there is more chance of me driving the P1 around London with you roped face down (in the nude) on my roof, and a rose hanging out your ar5e, than me driving around with a huge dent in my door

Must be a reflection chap.

Thank you everyone.

I can get the thing shinier than it is at the moment and I will, but it will take a few more sessions ........ hopefully one Sat in Crowborough

The engine bay will take many hours to get back to normal like this

To have a bay like this needs addressing every week. It does not take hours on end but 2 hours every week will keep it looking like this,

WIth no attention for 5 months means everything needs bringing back up to how it was. I've had a quick go today but it suggests that many hours are needed.

I will bring the paint back like this as well.

The above pics look okay but I know it can be much better than it is at the moment, and it will be done
