Scoobyless now.
Well after selling the scoob, and looking around at many things. and not really being able to decide on what as loved so many car's.
I had a couple of must's- I knew it had to be Japanese only, had to have a turbo and be good from a standard form, the range went from sticking with impreza's classic and new-age, Evo's to R32/33 Gtr and Rx7s. After alot of viewing's checking money, insurance prices, what the car would achieve in terms of what i was looking from the next purchase. Ideally i was after a stock (ish) model as i prefer this and then i know what has been done to the vehicle. I had been hunting for a while and then a type of car came to my mind, a car that i has always liked but never thought the insurance would allow even before the funds would, but blow me down the insurance came back at a very good price, so rechecked to make sure and again came back fine, so onto the car hunting and a few arose but weren't great, alot being tampered with, any how was searching late on last friday eve, when fell across this car, it was advertised in the owners local paper, google found it. wasnt on any other net pages. gave the owner a call and well, I'm now a proud owner of a stock-ish MKIV Toyota Supra Twin Turbo. and love it. the only mods being a Trust panel filter, fujitsubo cat back exhaust and Advan 3 spoke alloys (which have to go) but was as close to stock as i could find. pics to follow soon. Nice choice - I've Always considered the Supra Turbo's the Daddy of the Jap cars.
Timeless styling, and big power possiblities for relatively little outlay. |

I was extremely interested in Mr Martyns classic but thought it had sold before but then hadn't which is a bummer for me but still gain for him selling it to another club member,
Heres a couple of snaps of my phone, the wheels have to go first asap. |

Yeah its the auto version, reasons are the manual models which are identical just manual are fetching £8500+ where as i paid £3600 for mine and will be converted by supra tuning in crawley for £2500 so thats rounded up with odds and sodds £6500 car with Extreme low miles and it had only one owner who imported it themselfs back in 2004 and full service history and jap history, i could buy a N/a supra for £1200-1500 and do the work myslef and save alot off money and flog of the na in bits but i want to use this company as they have carried out the conversion many of times,
thanks for the comments guys |
