HOLIDAY FROM HELL !!!!!!!

Fluffy (our gay housekeeper) told me that as a thanks for giving him a home he had booked up a week away for Hev & I. This turned out to be a week in Malta.

He had arranged everything, borrowed the money from his Nan and everything was cool.
Flying out on Tue 3rd Jan and returning on the 10th Jan.



ACTUAL Events
(remember, Hev & I had no knowledge of anything that was happening. All I knew was that we were going to Malta as I needed to know the day before we left for things like clothes to pack, currency etc, but I kept this quite from Hev.)

Tues morning (all packed, luggage in the hall at 8.30am)
A white Limo pulled up outside our house. This thing was roughly the length of a average English fookin village :blink:

Pouring down with rain, I took the suitcases out and left them behind the boot.
Driver got out and opened the boot. FOUR spare wheels, 2 tool boxes and the entire contents of a planned boot fair filled the boot ?? (this company knew we where going to the airport).
All contents were emptied into the front of the limo.

Huge scratch down the side of the limo, 3 or the 4 internal neons weren't working, air vents missing, carpet torn and once on the road the rear diff sounded like it was going to fail within the next few meters. This car must of cost at least nine quid to hire.

Chassis was so pissed that we were going down the M23 taking up 2 lanes due to crabbing ! ...... anyway 8 family members in the car all drinking Champers and we made it to the airport.

Arrived at airport at 10.30am. Plane had several delays and we took off at 7 .15 pm :001_rolleyes:


Landed, grabbed the luggage and sure enough there was a cab driver holding our name plate. (the first taxi driver I saw was holding a sign saying "Colin Mcrae") !!!


After 30 minutes we arrived at the hotel very late in the evening. OMG ...... you wanna see this hotel. Hev & I looked at each other wondering if it was now a joke.

No welcome from the receptionist & the place stunk like an old peoples metal institute.
Got to the room and we were just shocked. Skirting hanging off, two smears of 5hit down the outside of the toilet, pillows and bedding stunk, it was just awful. Hev just burst out crying.
Starving hungry, nothing open and hotel could only offer crisps or chocolate from a vending machine (4 Star Hotel) !!

Hev wouldn’t sleep on the sheets so laced the bed with towels (2 single beds).
Balcony with Sea View !! room on ground floor with balcony bolted to concrete patio. View? ......... 6 Mts away we could stare into 6 other rooms.
Whole area flooded.

Up for breakfast the next morning. Mank, is the only word that comes to mind.
Mid morning I am feeling bad...... and I mean bad. Puking up, had the 5hits (still have) and I still feel dog rough whist writing this.

Phoned up my mate Tone and the earliest flight back he could arrange was today at 12.30 lunch time.
We arrived home 2 hours ago.

Bloody hell that sounds rubbish. My holiday in Malta was fantastic but was in the summer. The island has fantastic history if you were able to feel good enough to see?

We needed a break.

I will make it up to her and take her to Hastings for a weekend in February
