Default Trip to SRR yesterday

The car was in with Brent at SMD Tuesday to have the decat pipes fitted and a new panel filter. Then drove like Miss Daisey up to SRR yesterday for Simon to map it.

Pleased with the results. 341 BHP and a nice 382 ft/lbs. The car is totally different to drive. Really smooth with bags of low down grunt. Got to get used to the increased sound. It sounds proper scooby but is noticably noiser on motorways etc.

Many thanks to Simon for a fantastic map. The car really has come alive. And thanks to Charlie at SRR, even got a coffee!

Here is a pic and the graph:

You won't believe this but....... YES!

We had a thread on here a while back about a new RR around the Hastings area, in which everyone said they loved going to SRR, but the bogs were a health hazard.

After much BS and banter being thrown about Charlie actually got it done, to the point you could almost eat you...... no...... lets not be that optimistic. You could go to the toilet with your eyes open and without holding your breath

Thanks guys. Its amazing what a few tweaks can do for a car which is why I love these cars. Its just like having a new car again. It behaves totally different to before. Thought I might try the launch control next time I am out showing people over houses :zoiks:

Its alot different Scott. Spools earlier and has alot more urgency than it had before. It has gained the thump in the back that the old 2.0s have. Lovin every minute of it at the moment. Its alot noisier than it was which is great sometimes but can be difficult to keep quiet when I need to, but hey!.

Its the first time its been RR dyno'd. Last time it was road dyno'd and we thought it was around 340bhp and 355lbs. but judging by the difference I would say it was less than that. It was Probably more like 320bhp and 350lbs so I think realisticallly I have another 20BHP and 30ft/lbs now.
