Locksmith
Hello guys,
I am wanting to change the front door lock on my shop...its just a normal Yale key, is anyone in here able to do that for me or is it an easy enough job to attempt myself? ( I am a DIY dumbass BTW) Paul Have a fab Xmas everyone!

They sell that sort at screw fix
Believe it's one retaining screw on the edge of the door

thats not a yale. see that screw in the side of the door thats roughly in line with the bottom of the lock (one above the bottom screw in the pic), you undo that screw. then put the key in and turn the lock while pulling a little and it will come straight out providing it's the type with a key hole inside and out. if its the type with a knob on the inside, there's probably a little allen key or screw in the nob which also needs to be removed before the lock will pull out

I replaced one of these on my nan's door last week, the barrel was between 20- 30 quid. If you can, take the barrel with you when you get a new one but definately measure it first, you need to measure from each end to the middle bit that locks then the length of the locking bit in the middle..... if that makes sense!
should be something like 35mm-10mm-40mm the retaining screw as mentioned above was an allen key socket on the lock i changed.

Thanks for the advice guys. I will have a crack at changing the lock this weekend. Surely it can't be too difficult ..

It is not difficult,
I have not watched the video it should say,( sometimes this is forgotten about ) The nib in the cylinder that turns the inside of the lock is often off set so you will have to turn the key slightly to with draw it from the door after you have removed the single screw in the edge of the door. On replacement make sure the screw that secures the cylinder is the correct length as they can often bottom out.
