Default back to the future

was merrily driving along the 24 today north bound from worthing and came across a fully fledged back the the future delorean....had flux capacitor...them strange rear jet things...the works,absolutley mint! apeared to have broken down..with two oldew fellas just standing looking at it! i was trying for a pic but thought steering the lorry was proberbly the better option..now thats not summing you see everyday,these are museum peices know days!! did anyone else witness this? sorry cos im sad it made my day

there was one on wheeler dealers a few weeks back, although in standard form, not kitted out like the one in the film.

also, I bought this t-shirt 2 weeks back, which woulda been cool if you was wearing it and had stopped !

It was at one of the Goodwood breakfast club meets a few months back so its obviously fairly local to us

There's a chap in Harrietsham in Kent who has a couple I believe, he's seen quite often driving about in one, i never knew they'd made thousands of them!?

there was me gettin all excited and they made thousands...........
stood out as being a btf replica thats for certain!! am i also wrong in thinking that theyre worth a lot of money then!!?!

think they made 9-10 thousand, most were in the states tho, sorry didn't take in the bit about flux capacitor replica etc...... now that must be rare!??

there's over 20 for sale on car and classic, only one has a price listed which is 20k!

There were 6 made for the films, 1 caught on fire, 2 rotted into the ground, the film studio still has 2 and the last one is in a private collection somewhere.... could be that one?!

however.......... there is one for sale on fleabay usa for $450,000!!! I think this one is a bit special tho, took him 8 years to build and for that price it better take me back to the future!

According to wheeler dealers they've got spares to build thousands. Don't worry mate in sad to I get excited by the most random strange things.
